Recently, I came across this very timely and sobering quote from Russell D. Moore (author of A Purpose Driven Cosmos) published in this February’s edition of Christianity Today. In it Moore states: “For too long, we’ve called unbelievers to ‘invite Jesus into your life.’ Jesus doesn’t want to be in your life. Your life’s a wreck. Jesus calls you into His life.”

Often honest Spiritual self-examination brings pain. Sometimes it brings shame, confusion and doubt. Yet none of those things are bad, if you are open and willing to be emptied of all the other options. And here’s the truth, every person here has what it takes to be emptied and renewed. Every person here, regardless of age, journey or status has the spiritual ability to surrender and say; to whom shall I go? However, it boils down to this: Do you believe or are you still looking for proof and other options? May you know and believe… May you be renewed in the awareness that Jesus is the only option.
